How does an Alpha Futures evaluation work?
You choose an account type (Premium, Advanced, or Zero), pick your account size, and start trading inside our simulated trading environment. To pass an Evaluation, you need to hit the profit target while staying inside the Maximum Loss Limit and, where applicable, satisfy the 50% consistency rule. Once you pass, you become an Alpha Futures Qualified Trader and become eligible to request performance fees.
How do performance fees work at Alpha Futures?
Qualified Traders can request performance fees up to 4 times per month, after every 5 winning trading days of $200 profit or more. You may withdraw up to 50% of your profit per request, with the rest staying in your account for drawdown protection. All requests are processed in 48 business hours or less. Most account types pay a 90% performance split, which the wider trading community often refers to as a 90% profit split.
Can I trade news at Alpha Futures?
There are no news trading restrictions on any Evaluation Account. Advanced and Premium Qualified Accounts also have no news trading restrictions. On Zero Qualified Accounts, you cannot enter trades within 2 minutes before or 2 minutes after a high impact news event (ForexFactory red folder events).
How do I become an Alpha Prime trader?
Once your simulated Qualified Account reaches +$40,000 in payable balance, or after 5 payout cycles, our team reviews your trading history for the opportunity to move to Alpha Prime. From there, you can choose the Alpha Prime Program (60% performance split plus a 12 month monthly salary, weekly strategy calls, and access to the London trading floor) or the Generic Live Program (80% performance split, no salary, no Alpha Prime resources).
