How to Pick Your Alpha Futures Platform (2026)

How to Pick Your Alpha Futures Platform (2026)

We support AlphaTrader, Tradovate, NinjaTrader, WealthCharts, and TradingView (via Tradovate). Tradovate and NinjaTrader share the same login credentials. TradingView is not a standalone platform here, you connect through a Tradovate account with the TradingView add-on. Platform choices are not interchangeable after purchase. Pick the workflow you already use before you buy your evaluation (what many traders call a prop firm challenge).

General information only, not financial advice. Simulated trading. Performance fees are performance-based; outcomes not guaranteed.

We use evaluation for the assessment stage and Qualified Account after you pass. All platforms connect to the same simulated funds and programme rules, MLL, profit targets, and plan-specific limits do not change because you picked a different platform.

Choose before you checkout

Platform choices are not interchangeable after purchase.

That means:

  • Pick one primary platform at signup
  • Your credentials and setup flow depend on that choice
  • Switching later is not supported, per our help centre, platform choices are not interchangeable after purchase

Tradovate

Tradovate is web-based. Your Tradovate username and password are the same ones you use for NinjaTrader on the same Alpha Futures account.

How you log in:

  1. Log in to Tradovate with credentials from your dashboard Account Information
  2. Sign your Non-Professional Agreement - you will not get real-time data or trading access until this is signed
  3. Select Simulation as your trading mode

Pick Tradovate if: you want browser access, no desktop install, and a straightforward futures stack, especially if you may also use TradingView or NinjaTrader on the same credentials.

NinjaTrader

NinjaTrader is a desktop application. It uses the same Tradovate login credentials as Tradovate, one account, two interfaces.

Setup summary:

  1. Log in to Tradovate first and sign your Non-Professional Agreement (required before real-time data works in NinjaTrader)
  2. Open NinjaTrader Desktop
  3. Enable Multi-provider under Tools → Options → General
  4. Connections → Configure → select NinjaTrader connection
  5. Enter your Alpha Futures username and password from Account Information

Full walkthrough: Connecting with NinjaTrader Desktop

Pick NinjaTrader if: you already rely on NT indicators, templates, and desktop speed and you are fine completing the Tradovate agreement step first.

WealthCharts

WealthCharts is a web-based platform designed by real, live fund trading champions

How you log in:

  1. Check email from support@alpha-futures.com for WealthCharts credentials
  2. Click Launch WealthCharts on your dashboard, or sign in via the WealthCharts link in our help guide
  3. Set language, password, and display name on first login
  4. Sign your Non-Professional Agreement
  5. Confirm your account and sign the WealthCharts trading disclaimer
  6. Select Alpha Futures from the prop firm list and choose your account

Full walkthrough: Getting started with WealthCharts

Pick WealthCharts if: you want a web-native charting and execution environment without installing NinjaTrader, and you prefer WealthCharts’ workflow over Tradovate’s UI.

TradingView (via Tradovate)

TradingView is not a separate platform choice on its own. You trade Alpha Futures on TradingView by connecting a Tradovate evaluation or Qualified Account through the TradingView add-on.

Requirements:

  • An Alpha Futures account on Tradovate
  • A personal TradingView account
  • An active TradingView subscription (required by TradingView for the integration)
  • Tradovate Non-Professional Agreement signed
  • Simulation mode on Tradovate

Setup summary:

  1. Log in to Tradovate and sign your agreement
  2. Tradovate → Application Settings → Add-Ons → activate TradingView (should show Included)
  3. Sign in to TradingView with your personal credentials
  4. On a chart, click Trade → select Tradovate → Demo → connect with your Tradovate credentials

Full walkthrough: How to trade with TradingView

Pick TradingView if: you already live in TV for analysis and want to keep that chart layout, but understand you must choose Tradovate (or NinjaTrader on the same creds) at purchase, not “TradingView only.”
